Lynda Carter’s sweetness as Wonder Woman remains one of my favorite things about her. I think it’s important to remember that it’s not a weakness for woman to be kind (as Diana is) even if they are more powerful than the men. I’m much more a fan of recognizing that kindness in Wonder Woman rather than the bad trend of writing her like a violent person who lives to hit people or sneer in anger. It’s just personal preference but that has never quite worked for me nor felt right.

I don’t know who they will cast as Diana going forward but this will always be my ideal in terms of her demeanor. She’s not a Sex bomb nor an over the top violent person who lives to hit people. She is tough as nails but she is also wise and kind. It’s those qualities that remain more important to me in any live action adaptation than how hard she can hit someone.

There’s a reason Magical Girls borrow so much from Wonder Woman.
