finally get to see Stiles play some lacrosse. lol
So Grandpa Tigh just needed better lines, clearly. His monologuing here is so much less corny than in previous scenes.
My father and I were discussing his characterization (yup, I got my 66 year old dad into Teen Wolf) and we were torn—is Grandpa Tigh poorly written, or is the artificiality of so many of his speeches deliberate? The literary quotes are part of a grand tradition of screen villainy, and yet there’s something about them—delivery?—that drives a wrecking ball straight through the accumulated verisimilitude of any scene he enters.
So what do you think, is it the actor or the lines?
