That’s a good point. Maybe I’ll start combing notes for new people to follow. I have to admit that I don’t keep up with Tumblr very well—it takes me ages to check out the blogs of people...

Nothing I ever post gets more than about a dozen notes (more often zero), so yeah, I track them.
It really varies for me. Some posts get no notes, while others get hundreds. It depends entirely on whether a post is reblogged by someone with a wide readership, since I don’t have a particularly large one, and am not very chatty on Tumblr. ;)

Nope I don’t unless it’s a text post I’m nervous about. Pictures, scans, whatever, I don’t care with them.
I rarely get any vehement disagreement on Tumblr and never trolling, tbh. Maybe I’ve self-selected too much. ;) As a consequence, I don’t worry too much about response, even to more controversial opinions.
